Personality.

Personality wise, I describe Mahree like Stargirl

Biography.

Born in Thavnair by the coast, Mahree grew up on a zoo and conservation area. From a young age she was taught a love and reverence for nature and the animals that inhabit it. It was only an extension of that reverence to discover a natural proclivity for the healing arts. It was when she found a small Axolotl Eft that was injured that she really honed in this talent. Taking it home, she and her family nursed it back to health, opening her eyes to really helping others first hand.

Mahree went out at her father's urging to explore other countries and areas for animals and creatures to add to their conservation list. But also, there was more for her to learn in healing, and maybe in that healing she'll be able to use it to the benefit of her family and their zoo.

Headcanons.

✧ Her dad, Hiro, is best described as Fantasy Crocodile Hunter

✧ Their family zoo focuses mainly on endagered species. However, there is a minion petting zoo that Mahree is especially fond of.

✧ She's originally from the southern islands, and maintained her southern accent thus far.

✧ Mahree's hair is naturally black. However, the first chance she had (And first encounter with a hairdresser) she dyed it lavender. She's not great about upkeep, however, and bits and pieces of her natural hair color do peek through.

✧ She's banned from playing Triple Triad at the Golden Saucer for being a known card counter and scamming the dealers.

✧ Her trusted companion is an axolotl eft named Murphy. Murphy goes with her everywhere and is Mahree's vibe checker of sorts. If he doesn't like you, chances are that Mahree will also not like you, either.

✧ Mahree is a yapper.

✧ Her mother is a Hyur and her father is a Raen Au Ra, the both having met in Kugane. Quickly getting wind of Garlean Empire and knowing Thavnair had more space, Alora and Hiro moved to the outskirts of Thavnair in Radz-at-Han to open a zoo and conservation center.

A'vett Taaskha.

"Oh no, there are two of them," Iljax once said about A'vett and Mahree. They immediately bonded over a love of animals and similar personality types. A'vett is one of Mahree's closest friends and she's thankful for his sunshine-y disposition in the wild land of Eorzea.

Iljax ceateaux.

The grumpiest bun that Mahree ever did see. However, with her charm she managed to ware Iljax down. Begrudgingly. Mahree definitely thinks of Iljax as an older brother type. Way older, how old is he exactly? And she embraces the annoying little sister energy.

Lelan Suralis.

Lelan and Mahree occasionally do some adventuring together in addition to their gambling shenanigans. As a joke, Mahree calls the two of them 'Sister Wives' as they both have a crush on the same person.

Mahree's best friend from back home in Thavnair. E'lora and Mahree were quite the chaotic duo, always getting into mischief when they were younger. As they grew up, E'lora left home and became an adventurer with Mahree leaving for her own reason not far after. The pair met back up in Gridania, happy to share tales.

T'ai Madge.

Mahree sees the good in all creatures- Sometimes to her detriment. When trying to befriend a particularly nasty scared beastie, she found herself a bit overpowered. Luckily, T'ai was nearby enough to lend out a helping hand. And, as Mahree is prone to do, she followed him around afterwards and the rest blossomed from there.
